Alphatron Medical has brought the concept of medication carts (or computers on wheels) to its prime with ‘the Amis’. Equipped with wireless access to electronic patient files, a connected medicine cabinet and the possibility to carry a large variety of diagnostic peripherals, hospitals are offered an integrated and full scale solution. Whether used for bedside multitasking or as a back office mini desk, all adjustments can be set and stored to personal preference. Promea was involved in the multinational creation of the trolley and we even designed and developed the entire modular medication drawer system. Its extensive attention to detail, proven reliability and customer support from Alphatron resulted in the Amis fundamentally changing the workflow in hospitals across the Netherlands.
