Commander sandblasting helmet
Although Arbin already had a big sales hit with their sandblasting helmets, the in-house SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) production line was non-sustainable and the quality of design was declining. Promea redesigned the helmet with recyclable polyamide for injection moulding. The helmet has been sculpted in a way that enables rubber dip moulding and optimizes the integration of the air inlet channel and the flat glass front screen. The Commander is equipped with an early warning system for fresh air supply. The quick release fittings of the front window enables the user to rapidly swap the disposable glass as well as the gauze. Despite the extremely harsh conditions of use, Arbin’s new heavy duty product proves to easily withstand its field tests and largely surpasses the sales of its predecessor.
