The Shift is both a simple schooldesk and a fully integrated ICT solution. In closed position the Shift offers maximum interaction between students and teachers with no obstacles, a seamless desktop and ergonomic dimensions. In open position it shows a full ICT workspace. The Shift desktop is an effective and elegant way of dealing with the problem of chaotic wiring in classrooms. It prevents classes from making noisy and stressful shifting from one room to another. The slots and holes at the end of the desktop refer to pen and ink holders of classic Dutch school desks. In close consultancy with Eromes Promea took care of the entire concept and product development process.
