After the successful introduction of the ScanAuto the time had come for the redesign of the scooter version ScanScooter. More than the rooftop scanner ScanScooter needed a radical new architecture in order to meet new demands. The original ScanScooter was too heavy, too big and too complex. Therefore Promea came up with a new product structure based on a layered interior and a smooth mono-volume exterior. With a reduction of 1/3 in size and weight the new ScanScooter was a milestone in miniaturization of cars scanners and easily fits all scooters.
