Hemi-directional hanging loudspeakers, called the sounddisc, are made to address people in large public spaces indoor. Extensive acoustic research by Bosch has lifted the audio quality to a higher level. This resulted in a high-end concept with an innovative configuration of speakers, software and dimensions. Carefully respecting these specifications, Promea developed the industrial design. Its shape accentuates its purpose in a functional and semantic way. The recurrent discs in these spaces indicate a virtual ceiling on which the exciting asymmetrical tops reduce installing time. On top of this, Promea was also the supplier of the first pilot run.
