Cardio Perfect
Cardio Control was able to conquer a key position in the market for medical diagnostics even before investing in serious product design. The company’s innovative hardware and software, however, needed a little push for a commercial breakthrough. Via Pekago Kunststoffen (today’s Pekago Covering Technology) they got in touch with Promea. The shape of the enclosure is an abstraction of a human torso. Its flat surfaces provide enough space for properly readable infographics, gives the product a distinctive human touch, and an improved sense of orientation. With this new product, the company went public before it became part of Welch Allyn.
